This mapo tofu contains chili bean paste and Japanese pepper, making it a favorite among adults.

<Ingredients> 4 servings
1 block of silken tofu
150g minced pork
1 white onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 slices of chili pepper
★2 tablespoons sake
★1 teaspoon soy sauce
★2 tablespoons sweet bean sauce
★2 tablespoons Doubanjiang
★2 teaspoons chili powder
★1 tablespoon Japanese pepper powder
200ml water
1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
2 tablespoons water-dissolved potato starch
1 tablespoon salad oil
Chili oil (as needed)
Chopped green onions (as needed)
<How to make>
1. Dice the tofu and place in a pot of boiling water and heat over low heat for about 5 minutes.
2. Finely chop the white onion and garlic.
3. Add salad oil to another pot, add the white onion, garlic, and sliced chili pepper, and fry over medium heat.
4. Once the aroma comes out, add the ground pork and stir fry until it changes color.
5. Mix all the ingredients marked with ★ together and add them to the pot in which you fried the ground pork.
6. Add water and chicken stock powder to ⑤ and boil for about 5 minutes.
7. Place the warmed tofu in a colander, drain well, and add to the pot in step ⑥.
8. After simmering for about 5 minutes, add water-dissolved potato starch to thicken the mixture.
9. Add chili oil and chopped green onions and serve in a bowl.
