We have started taking pre-orders for our seasonal freshly picked raw Japanese pepper.
Dried sansho pepper and tsukudani made with raw sansho berries are exceptionally delicious.
We ship at the optimal time to deliver the sansho berries at their most delicious, so there may be some delays in shipping from the scheduled date.

Sansho berries are a delicate ingredient that can only be harvested in a short period of about 10 days, after which the seeds become hard and lose their texture. We work closely with our contracted farmers to harvest only berries that are in the right season for harvesting.
